Planning permission received for alterations and extension to a house at Pearse Square, Bray

29th October 2010

A decision to grant planning permission for alterations and extension to a house at Pearse Square, Bray was received today. The house is a semi detached building constructed circa 1950. The new design proposed by Urban Architecture is for a 2 storey extension to the rear, incorporating an open plan kitchen / living area at ground floor, along with utility and bathroom. The first floor has a large new masterbedroom, ensuite and walk in wardrobe.

The property has a large south facing garden to the rear and the design exploits this with the new light filled family spaces opening out to the garden. The conversion will retain the character of the existing house while adding sufficient space to allow for modern family living.

Construction is due to commence in the near future.
